Building Leaders Through Sailing
More Kids On Sailboats has put together an all kids crew – Ages 10 to 18 to race in the 2020 Leukemia Cup Regatta. Not only do we face the challenge of training and completing the race, we now are going to raise $15,000 to support our family and crew facing Leukemia & Lymphoma.
We need your help. The donation page is coming soon but let’s talk today! Please reach out to Executive Director Brett Langolf to discuss.
Leadership Skills are Best Taught Through Team Sports
When Your Mission Is Your Name, It’s Easy
We believe leadership skills are best discovered through relationships & teamwork; sailing offers the unique opportunity to acquire these skills on a co-ed, multi-generational crew.
With your support, we will be able to provide youth sailors with new opportunities on & off the water. Support allows then access to races, equipment & people previously not available. Please consider joining our Crew & help build leaders through sailing.
This all started as a hashtag. Just a simple way to connect others kids, boats & clubs. Now #MoreKidsOnSailboats is trending from California to Italy. Join the Battlecry on your next social post.
We currently partner with international organizations such as Doyle Sails, Helly Hansen, J/Boats, mti lifejackets & others, as well as regional support from Bayview Yacht Club. There multiple opportunities to partner with us and we are eager to make it happen. Please reach out to Executive Director Brett Langolf to discuss.
Every junior program in the country should implement a program where they are putting a kid, or connecting kids that want to go keelboat sailing with a member that have keelboats – cruising or racing.Tucker Thompson –
