Developing Leaders Through Sailing

Challenge Accepted!
We Raised over $27,000

We were challenged to raise $15K for LLS. So we put together an all kids crew – Ages 10 to 18 to race in the 2020 Leukemia Cup Regatta and we did it! We continue to raise funds for a disease we hate. Get Onboard & Donate! https://pages.lls.org/regatta/noh/sandusky20/blangolf

Leadership Skills are Best Taught Through Team Sports

Our Mission

We believe problem solving skills, the ability to think critically, along with some grit are what today’s kids need. Relationships, teamwork, determination, perseverance, all of these can be gained through More Kids on Sailboats, a new 501(c)(3) organization launching skill-building programs for new and experienced sailors. Restoring, rigging and navigating boats fosters leadership, camaraderie and communication. With co-ed, multigenerational crews gaining this skill set through our Prep, Practice, Perform and Provide Programs funded through supportive, generous partners, this next generation will have the tools needed to succeed in the 21st century.

Donate

With your support, we will be able to provide youth sailors with new opportunities on & off the water. Support allows then access to races, equipment & people previously not available. Please consider joining our Crew

#Post

This all started as a hashtag. Just a simple way to connect others kids, boats & clubs. #MoreKidsOnSailboats is now trending from California to Italy. Join the Battlecry on your next social post.

Partner

We currently partner with global brands, international organizations, local clubs & crews. We craft a unique experience for each partner. We are eager to make it happen for you. Please reach out to Executive Director Brett Langolf to discuss.

Every junior program in the country should implement a program where they are putting a kid, or connecting kids that want to go keelboat sailing with a member that have keelboats – cruising or racing.
That is all I have to say on that topic
